Greenville, S.C. -- Treva Aycock and Maddie Kulik scored two goals apiece and Claudia Murphy added two assists as Furman cruised to a 6-0 victory over North Greenville in women's soccer action on Monday evening at Stone Soccer Stadium.

Aycock, a native of Marietta, Ga., tallied two scores in the first half and Kulik netted both of her goals in the second half, including a score just 47 seconds into the second period, to help the Paladins improve to 2-0-0 on the season. Furman grabbed a 1-0 lead at 11:27 when Aycock dribbled more than half the length of the field before beating North Greenville goalkeeper Madelynn Schober from close range at the right post.

In the 18th minute, sophomore Amanda Baker scored her fourth goal of the season and upped the Paladin lead to 2-0 when she finished off a low cross from Molly Dwyer. Aycock stole the ball from the Crusaders' back line and slotted a shot past Schober for her second score of the night at 28:47 to give Furman a 3-0 lead before head coach Andrew Burr turned to his bench to complete the shutout.

"It was good to see so many players get significant playing time tonight," said Burr, who has led the Paladins to three NCAA Tournament appearances at the helm of the program. "We were able to continue to work on or team chemistry and get a look at a number of players who are fighting for minutes off the bench."

Kulik's scored in the 46th minute on assists from Arianna Milicia and Abby DeMare to open the second half and up the lead to 4-0. Less than eight minutes later, Milicia scored on a driving shot off a cross from Murphy to the right side of the box. Kulik capped the scoring at 54:00 with her second goal and Murphy's second assist in less than a minute.

Kellsey Weaver, Allie Cutler and Sarah Rinker each logged time in goal to combine on the clean sheet. Furman's trio of goalkeepers were forced to make just one save as the Paladins compiled a 39-2 edge in total shots and 23-1 advantage in shots on goal.
