AUSTIN, TEXAS -- Freshman Taylor Totland (E) carded a par 72 for the second-consecutive day to tie for 20th place, leading Furman Monday in a rainy second round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational at the par-72, 6,143 yard University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, Texas.

Totland, who teed off of hole 10, birdied four holes on the back, including back-to-back birdies on 16 and 17, then birdied her final hole of the day to finish the round seven strokes behind leaders Allison Lee (-7) of UCLA and Jessica Peng (-7) of Mississippi State, who each fired a 137 in the tournament's first two rounds.

Paladin senior Aubrie Street (+6) is tied for 52nd place after registering four birdies and recording a 74 in Monday's round, while junior Laura DeMarco (+10) carded a birdie on 4 then consecutive birdies on 8 and 9 to finish the round, moving into a tie for 67th place with a second-round 75.

Senior Ingunn Gunnarsdottir (+12) birdied the par-5 No. 5 to shoot an 80 on Monday, finishing the round tied for 79th, while sophomore Valentina Romero (+15) also registered an 80 in the second round to head into Tuesday's round tied for 86th.

"Today was still a bit of a struggle," said Furman head coach Kelley Hester.  "We played on a soaked golf course with lots of rain, and just didn't make as many adjustments as we needed to.  This was a better overall group effort, but we need to continue to improve."

UCLA (-13) moved into first place with a second-round 282 and leads Arizona State (-10) by three strokes.  Miami (-8) is in third place, followed by Iowa State (-3) and Mississippi State (-1).  Furman (+28) moved up to 16th place following Monday's second round.

The tournament will conclude Tuesday with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m. Central Time.  Live scoring will be available via
