GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman's Cameron Green has been named the Southern Conference men's tennis player of the week for all matches played April 10-16, the conference announced Tuesday. This is the third weekly award of the season for Green, who helped Furman to a 1-1 record last week. Green wraps up his four-year career with six weekly awards to his name.

The Sydney, Australia, native capped off the regular season with a 2-0 record at the No. 1 singles spot. Green defeated Wofford's Lucas Cerbelli 6-0, 6-1 on April 11, leading Furman to a 5-2 win. On April 14, Green topped Mercer's Sam Philp, who is currently ranked No. 117, 6-3, 6-0 at the No. 1 spot as the Paladins narrowly fell 4-3 to the Bears. With the two victories, Green finishes the regular season with a 14-7 mark at the No. 1 spot.
