Lady Paladin Tennis Player to Speak At Mauldin Banquet

GREENVILLE, South Carolina - A pair of Furman women's tennis players, Marti Morris (Memphis, Tenn.) and Lauren Osborne (Dallas, Texas), will be the featured speakers at Mauldin High School's 2005 varsity and JV tennis banquet, Thursday night at 6:30 p.m at Holly Tree Country Club.

Morris and Osborne will speak five minutes each about their transition from high school to college tennis. In addition, they will touch on key ingredients for success on the court and in life.

Mauldin just ended their best-ever tennis season, finishing as a state finalist. Furman is the reigning Southern Conference regular season and tournament champion, and is riding a 60 match winning streak against regular season conference competition.
