Lauren Osborne Named SoCon Women's Tennis Player of the Week

Spartanburg, SC - Lauren Osborne of Furman has been named the SoCon Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of April 19.

Osborne, a true freshman from Dallas, TX, picked up two league wins during the week. On April 16, Osborne knocked off Appalachian State's Alexandra Grate, 6-0, 6-0. The next day, Osborne kept to her winning ways as she defeated Kim Whelan of Davidson, 6-3, 6-4. Osborne is currently on a 15-match winning streak and is 9-0 in league matches, playing at the number three, four, five and six positions.
