Caroline Bentley Named SoCon Women's Tennis Player Of The Week

Spartanburg, SC - Caroline Bentley from Furman has been named the SoCon Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of March 9.

Bentley, a senior from Huntsville, AL, posted a 2-0 record on the week. She started the week by knocking off Gina Le of Cal State Fullerton, 5-7, 6-3, 10-5 on March 2. The next day, Bentley downed Sylvia Jaros of Hawaii, 6-2, 6-1. Bentley and her partner Mary Neill Hagood extended their doubles record to 8-1 with wins during the matches. Bentley is a combined 8-0 on the season playing at the number one, two and three singles positions.
