GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman women's tennis team will play host to #14 Clemson Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Mickel Tennis Center on the campus of Furman University. The match will be the 35th meeting between the two schools. The Tigers won last year's match, 7-0, to take a 32-2 lead in the series against the Paladins.

Furman (0-2) was led by senior Jessica Preeg, who won her match in the number four singles spot and teamed with freshman Olivia Maurice for a win at number three doubles, in the Paladins' last match, a 6-1 loss at South Carolina on January 26.

Clemson is ranked 14th nationally after opening the season with five-straight wins. The Tigers beat #20 Mississippi and #37 Texas A&M, each by scores of 4-3, last weekend.
