Sophomore Year (2007-08):As a sophomore transfer from the University of Virginia, Preeg made an immediate impact in the Furman lineup. Preeg recorded an 18-6 overall singles record in her first year of competition as a Paladin. She also compiled an 8-1 conference singles record, playing primarily at no. 4 singles, and earning second team all-conference honors. Preeg also paired with Lauren Tomory to record a 9-3 mark in doubles play.

Freshman Year (2006-07): Jessica Preeg completed her first year of eligibility at the University of Virginia.

Prep/Personal: Jessica Preeg competed at the Community School of Naples under head coach Nancy Geinman. Preeg was named MVP of her team all four years and was named Naples Daily News Player of the Year as a junior and senior. She made state finals appearances for three consecutive years. Preeg also led her team to a third place finish in Florida. Jessica Preeg is the daughter of John and Lisa Preeg and was born on October 8, 1987 in Naples, Fla. She intends to major in English at Furman. Her mother, Lisa, played professional tennis and was ranked as high as 60th in the world, and her father, John, played on the pro tour as well.
