Junior Year (2017-18): Weymouth was named to the All-Southern Conference first team for singles after compiling a 17-12 overall record, playing primarily at flight two. She began a four-match winning streak with a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Emmanuel on Feb. 24 and went on to win 15 of 17 matches lasting through the first round of the SoCon Championships. Weymouth put together a 13-match winning streak, including 12 wins in straight sets, that started on March 18 at Mercer and concluded with a 6-2, 6-4 victory versus Chattanooga to open the SoCon tournament. In doubles action, she teamed with Danni Vines for a 10-9 overall record, including a 4-1 mark at flight one. The Paladin duo scored early season non-conference wins over Elon and Penn and concluded the SoCon Championships with victories over Chattanooga and ETSU. Weymouth was named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll and the ITA All-Academic Team.
Sophomore Year (2016-17): Weymouth was named to the All-Southern Conference first team for doubles and received an all-conference second-team citation for singles after recording a 14-9 overall singles record and a 5-2 SoCon mark, playing mostly at flight two. She opened the season with a 6-3, 5-7, 7-2 victory over South Carolina then held on for a 6-0, 2-6, 1-0 (10-6) advantage against Troy. Beginning on March 26, Weymouth won six of seven matches, concluding April 22 against Samford in the semifinals of the Southern Conference Championships. In doubles play, she notched a 16-4 overall record. Weymouth teamed with Danni Vines for a 16-1 overall mark and perfect 7-0 SoCon record, playing primarily at flight two. The Paladin duo of Vines and Weymouth went on a tear beginning Feb. 19 versus Tusculum, winning 16-straight matches to finish the regular season and on through three rounds of the Southern Conference tournament.
Freshman Year (2015-16): Weymouth was chosen the Southern Conference Freshman of the Year and earned All-Southern Conference first team accolades for both singles and doubles after posting a 16-6 overall singles record and a perfect 7-0 league mark at flight two. She won 14 of 16 matches midseason, beginning with a 7-5, 6-0 victory over UNC Wilmington and recorded nine-straight wins over a five-week period from March 9, when she came from behind to beat Cal State Northridge, 6-7, 7-1, 7-1, through April 16, when Weymouth notched a 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 victory at East Tennessee State to conclude the SoCon regular season. Weymouth combined with Ansley Speaks at flight one doubles. The Paladin duo notched a 13-9 overall mark and 6-1 league record and won 10 of their last 11 matches to conclude the season.
Prep/Personal: Katarina Weymouth was a 2014 singles finalist at the ITF in Kenya and was a grade 2 national event U18 winner. She won the ITF doubles and was a singles quarterfinalist in Tunisia. As a representative of England, Weymouth helped her team to a runner up finish at the International World Schools Championship in 2014 and National World Schools Championships titles in 2013 and 2015. She was a member of the women’s Division I County Cup runners up team representing Middlesex. Katarina Weymouth was born on May 17, 1997, in London, England. She is the daughter of Nick and Carola Weymouth. She plans to study health sciences.
