Paladins To Entertain Catamounts Wedneday In Senior Day Match At Mickel Tennis Center

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman women's tennis team will entertain Western Carolina Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Mickel Tennis Center in Greenville, S.C.  

At Wednesday's match, the Paladins (10-8, 6-2 SoCon) will honor seniors Lauren Kline, Jenny Porter, and Michele Stanford in the final home match of their careers.  This group of seniors has posted a 53-37 overall record and a 20-8 league mark over the past four seasons.

Western Carolina enters Wednesday's match with a 1-12 overall record and 0-7 SoCon mark.  The Catamounts defeated Presbyterian, 5-2, in Clinton to open the season.

The match marks in the 28th meeting between the two schools.  The Paladins won last year's meeting, 7-0, in Cullowhee to take a 27-0 lead in the series.
