2013 Women's Tennis Yearbook Available On-Line

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman's official 2013 Women's Tennis Yearbook is now online through www.furmanpaladins.com or at http://catalog.e-digitaleditions.com/i/104379.

Furman will open the 2013 spring season Saturday at the UCF Invitational in Orlando, Fla.  The tournament, which runs through Monday, will feature Central Florida, Florida State, Iowa, and Furman.  Each team will compete in one doubles match and one singles match per day, with a 10 minute break following doubles.

The Paladins will face Central Florida in doubles Saturday at 10 a.m. to open the tournament.  At the completion of the doubles portion, Furman will take on Florida State in singles.  On Sunday, the Paladins will play Florida State in doubles and Iowa in singles.  The tournament will conclude on Monday, as Furman faces Iowa in doubles and Central Florida in singles. 

The Paladins return eight players from last season's team that posted a 14-10 overall record and an 8-2 mark in Southern Conference play.  Head coach Debbie Southern, who is in her 29th season at Furman, guided the 2012 team to the semifinals of the league tournament.
