Kiser, Jaudon Earn All-Southern Conference Honors

Greensboro, N.C. - Furman's Amber Kiser and Megan Jaudon were both named second team All-Southern Conference in voting by the league's eight head coaches, its was announced on Wednesday at the SoCon Softball Banquet.
Kiser, a first team pick last season, ranks among the league leaders in several offensive categories. The centerfielder leads her team with 42 runs, 56 hits, 16 stolen bases and a .306 batting average.
Jaudon, who was named second team all-league in 2005, has belted a team-best nine doubles and six homers while driving in 21 runs. The senior catcher from Blacksburg, Va., ranks second on Furman's all-time home run list with 21.
Furman continues play in the SoCon Tournament on Thursday when it battles Elon in a winner's bracket matchup. First pitch is set for 3:00 p.m.
