Furman Softball Doubleheader At Winthrop Canceled

Greenville, S.C. - Furman's non-conference softball doubleheader at Winthrop, scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Terry Field in Rock Hill, S.C., has been canceled due to wet conditions. There will not be a make-up date.

Furman (14-21-1, 4-5 SoCon), who took two of three games from Elon last weekend, returns to Southern Conference play Saturday when it opens a three-game home series against the College of Charleston at Pepsi Stadium. Saturday's doubleheader is slated for 1 p.m. with the series finale scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m.
