Mackey Named Preseason All-SoCon; Paladins Picked Seventh In SoCon Softball Preseason Poll

Senior Lana Mackey was named to the Preseason All-Southern Conference second team and the Furman Paladins were picked to finish seventh in polling of the league's nine head softball coaches, it was announced on Monday by the league office.

Furman Softball Inks Four To National Letters Of Intent

Furman Head Softball Coach Dana Jenkins announced on Friday the signing of Lauren Collier (Cincinnati, Ohio), Nikki Legg (Pawleys Island, S.C.), Hannah Pace (Gray Court, S.C.) and Stephanie Spain (Huntersville, N.C.) to national letters of intent to join the Paladin program in the fall of 2010.
