GREENVILLE, S.C. - Furman women's soccer standout Andre'a Morrison has been named Southern Conference Soccer Athlete-of-the-Month, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Morrison recorded four goals in the Southern Conference Tournament, including a first-half hat trick in the Lady Paladins' 7-0 first-round win over Elon. The junior forward from Kernersville, N.C., added a goal and an assist in the 3-1 win over Davidson on November 7, in the SoCon finals. The four-goal performance earned Morrison tournament MVP honors and all-tournament accolades.

Furman, which fell in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to #10 Tennessee 2-0, finished the season at 14-9-0. Morrison tallied nine goals and four assists in 18 matches for the season.
