Greenville, S.C. - Furman goalkeeper Andie Hinshaw has been named the Southern Conference Women's Soccer Player-of-the-Week for October 25, the league office announced today.

Hinshaw, a native of Raleigh, N.C., recorded three shutouts in three games this past week to help the Lady Paladins to a 2-0-1 record. In the three matches, Hinshaw tallied nine saves in 290 minutes in goal.

With Furman's 0-0 tie against Wofford on Sunday, Hinshaw, the SoCon's all-time leader in shutouts (34) garnered her school record ninth shutout of the season and her fourth consecutive clean sheet. The four straight matches and 421 minutes without surrendering a goal are both Furman school records.

Furman, 11-5-2 overall and 6-1-2 in SoCon play, concludes its regular season Sunday when it hosts UNC Greensboro at 2:00 p.m.
