Season and single game tickets for both Furman University men’s and women’s soccer are now available online through the Paladins’ Ticketmaster website page at www.furmanpaladins.com/tickets.

“This is the first time we have used our Ticketmaster system to sell season tickets for the soccer programs at Furman,” said Dwight Covington, Furman Athletic Ticket Sales Coordinator.  “The success that both our men’s and women’s programs enjoyed last year and their strong home slates for 2008 convinced us to use our Ticketmaster system to handle the demand.”

The Furman men’s team, which claimed the 2008 SoCon regular season and tournament titles, will play an eight game home slate that includes matches versus Washington, South Carolina and Clemson.  The Paladins will also host Southern Conference tilts with perennial league power UNC Greensboro, Davidson, Appalachian State and the College of Charleston.

Season tickets, including all eight home matches at Eugene Stone III Soccer Stadium, are available for $20 each or by purchasing a “Family Soccer 4 Pack” for $65.  Single game tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for children ages 4-14.

The women’s schedule features nine home matches beginning with the Paladins hosting Canisius and Coastal Carolina in the Select Kickoff Classic August 29 and 31, at Stone Stadium.  The defending Southern Conference Tournament champions will also entertain Upstate rival Clemson (Sept. 19) in the non-conference slate.  Davidson, Georgia Southern, Chattanooga, Elon and UNC Greensboro will visit Stone Stadium to SoCon play.

Season tickets for Furman’s nine-match women’s home schedule are available for $15 each of $45 for a “Family Soccer 4 Pack”.  Single game tickets are $3 for adults and $1 for children.
