GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman women's soccer match versus The Citadel, scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m. on Seagraves Field at Stone Soccer Stadium, has been postponed due to the approach of Hurricane Michael and predicted heavy rain and strong winds for the Greenville area.
The match will be played on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 2:30 p.m., prior to the Furman men's soccer game versus Wofford, which is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Furman returns to action on Sunday when the Paladins host Mercer for Senior Day on Sunday at 4 p.m. The Paladins enter the match with a 7-6 overall record and 2-4 SoCon mark after claiming a 3-0 victory at VMI on Sunday afternoon behind goals from Stephanie Arrington, Erin Houlihan and Arianna Milicia. Houlihan's tally, which came off of a free kick, marked her team-best fifth goal of the season.
Tickets for all home Furman soccer games are available for $5 and can be purchased on-line at http://www.FurmanPaladins.com or at the Stone Stadium entrance beginning one hour prior to kickoff.
