Greenville, S.C. -- The Furman women's soccer team will return to the field for the first time in 12 days when in hosts the South Carolina State Bulldogs on Seagraves Field at Stone Stadium Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Furman last played on September 1, when it suffered a double overtime defeat at home against UAB. The Paladins' September 8, match-up versus North Florida was cancelled due to the threat of Hurricane Irma and the difficulty it caused for the UNF campus in Jacksonville, Fla.

Wednesday's match marks the second meeting in the series between Furman and South Carolina State. The Paladins claimed an 8-0 victory last season at Stone Stadium against the Bulldogs with seven different players finding the back of the net.

Sophomore Amanda Baker leads the 2017 Paladins with four goals, while forward Treva Aycock has added three goals and an assist. Caitlyn Reilly, Maddie Kulik and Jenny Allen have tallied two goals apiece.

Tickets for next Wednesday's match are $5 and can be purchased beginning one hour prior to kickoff at the Stone Stadium gate or online at
