Greenville, S.C. - Furman sophomore Blair Lamb and incoming freshman Stefanie Kenoyer have each qualified for the 107th U.S. Women's Amateur Golf Championship slated for August 6-12, at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Ind.

Lamb, the reigning Southern Conference champion, carded an even-par 72 at Sapona Country Club in Lexington, N.C., to earn a spot in the field. Kenoyer, a native of Lighthouse Point, Fla., shot 74 at Jonathan's Landing Golf and Country Club in Jupiter, Fla., to qualify for the tournament.

Numerous Furman players have taken part in the U.S. Women's Amateur over the years, including former Lady Paladin and LPGA Hall-of-Famer Beth Daniel who won the event in 1975 and 1977. Former Furman All-American Brandi Jackson placed second in the tournament in 2003.
