Lamb Named Southern Conference Golfer-Of-The-Month For April

Greenville, S.C. - Furman's Blair Lamb has been named the Southern Conference Golfer-of-the-Month for April, it was announced on Monday by the league office.

The Flat Rock, N.C., native, who fired a three-round one-under-par 215 at the NCAA East Regional this past weekend, capped a strong month of April by winning the SoCon Tournament in a sudden-death playoff. Lamb carded a final round 71 to force a playoff before taking the title on the second hole.

Earlier in the month, the sophomore recorded a third place finish at the Bryan National Collegiate in Browns Summit, N.C., against a field that included 10 of the top 25 teams in the nation. Lamb earned Southern Conference Golfer-of-the-Week accolades following her outing at the Bryan Park Championship Course.
