Greenville, S.C. - Furman sophomore Stefanie Kenoyer has been named the Southern Conference Women's Golfer of the Month for April after claiming SoCon individual medalist honors for the second straight season, it was announced on Friday.

Kenoyer fired rounds of 76-73-74=223 to secure a four-stroke victory at the SoCon Championship at Moss Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head, S.C. The Lighthouse Points, Fla., native helped Furman to a 22-stroke triumph as the Paladins earned their 17th straight trip to the NCAA Regionals. The SoCon Player of the Year also registered a 13th place finish at the Lady Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla., earlier in the month against a field that included Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Duke and Washington. She posted a 75.5 stroke average for the month.

The Paladins are currently taking part in the NCAA East Regional at the Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville, Fla. The tournament's top eight teams will advance to the NCAA Championship in Owings Mills, Md.
