Lady Paladins Place 10th at Liz Murphey

ATHENS, Ga. -

Furman's Lady Paladin golf team fired a final round 309 Sunday at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic in Athens, Ga., to finish 10^th in the field of 18 with a three-round 922 total. 

Jenny Suh and Theresa Paik each recorded a 76 on Sunday to pace the team on the day, while Connor Atkinson contributed a 77, and Monique Gesualdi tallied an 80.  Atkinson and Paik were Furman's top finishers in the tournament, tying for 20^th at 228, while Suh tied for 35^th at 231, Gesualdi finished 59^th at 237, and freshman Sarah Sturm tied for 83^rd at 248.

The Bulldogs of UGA won their home tournament with a three-round 892 at the 6,228-yard, par 72 University of Georgia Golf Course.  LSU finished second at 905 and Auburn and Tulane tied for third at 908.

Furman returns to action this Friday through Sunday at the Bryan National Collegiate in Greensboro, N.C.
