Suh Named Southern Conference Player of the Week

SPARTANBURG, South Carolina - Furman's Jenny Suh was named Southern Conference Golfer of the Week for March 16. The sophomore is coming off a victory in the Lady Gamecock Invitational last weekend.

A sophomore from Fairfax, Va., Suh shot a 224 (76-73-75) to win her first collegiate tournament at the Lady Gamecock Classic on March 11-13. She entered the final round one stroke behind the leader and shot a 75 to win the individual title by three strokes, leading Furman to a second-place finish. Suh was the SoCon runner-up at the conference championship last season, after losing a playoff to teammate Sarah Johnston.

The Lady Paladins return to action March 25-27 at the Liz Murphey Invitational in Athens, Ga.
