Furman Takes 11th at Lady Gator

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Furman's Lady Paladin golf team fired a final round 311 to finish 11th in the Sun Trust Lady Gator Invitational, with a three-round 940 total. Wake Forest won the Lady Gator with an 883 tally.

Monique Gesualdi fired a final-round 74 to pace the Lady Paladins on Sunday and finish tied for 44th at 235. Jenny Suh was Furman's top finisher at 229 after a final round 77 placed her 15th, while Connor Atkinson and Sarah Sturm tied at 244, after firing 75 and 88, respectively. Theresa Paik rounded out the Furman effort with a final round 85, that left her tied for 74th in the individual standings, one stroke off teammates Atkinson and Sturm.
