Kim, Northwestern Add To Lady Paladin Invitational Lead In Round Two

Greenville, S.C. -- Alice Kim of Northwestern posted a two-under par 70 for the second straight round and the Wildcats shot 303 as a team to retain first place after the second round of the Lady Paladin Invitational Saturday at the Furman University Golf Course.
Kim, at four-under for the tournament, holds a four shot lead over Coastal Carolinas' Araceli Felgueroso (70-74=144) and six shot lead over Susan Nam (75-71=146) of Florida International. Furman sophomore Kathleen Ekey (76-73=149) carded a one-over par 73 on Saturday to climb into sole possession of fourth place after two rounds.
Northwestern boasts a 10 shot cushion over FIU, who recorded a second round best 301, following Saturday's action. Augusta State sits 12 shots behind while both East Tennessee State and Memphis are tied for fourth 13 strokes off of the pace.
Final round action is scheduled to begin with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.
