Lamb Fifth After Two Rounds Of Bryan National Collegiate

Browns Summit, N.C. - Furman's Blair Lamb carded a second round 76 Saturday at the Bryan National Collegiate at the Bryan Park Champions Course to hold a share of fifth place entering Sunday's final round.
Lamb, a sophomore, stands just two stroke off of the pace of leaders Amanda Blumenherst (73-71=144) of Duke and Maria Hernandez (71-73=144) of Purdue.
The Lady Paladins (308-316-624) are tied with Florida State for 12th after 36 holes of play. Kathleen Ekey, Corrine Carr and Monique Gesualdi each carded rounds of 80 on Saturday to join Lamb in helping Furman to a 316.
Florida holds the team lead with a one stroke advantage over Duke and Purdue with 18 holes remaining.
Final round play is slated to begin with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
