Athens, Ga. -- Junior Stefanie Kenoyer used a second round 75 to move into 16th place on Saturday at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the par-72 University of Georgia Golf Course.
Kenoyer (78-75=153) shot even par on the back nine to lead the Paladins to a round of 319 on Saturday as the Paladins dropped to 19th after 36 holes. Alexa Rancourt (84-79=163) rebounded from an opening round 84 with a seven-over 79 in round two.
Duke holds a nine-stroke lead over a field that includes 12 of the top 25 teams in the nation. Auburn, North Carolina, Arkansas and Alabama rounded out the top five. The Blue Devils’ Lindy Duncan, two-under par, holds a five-stroke lead over second place Cheyenne Woods of Wake Forest through 36 holes.
Final round action is set for Sunday morning with a shotgun start slated for 8:30 a.m.
