Lamb Paces Furman At Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic

Athens, Ga. - Sophomore Blair Lamb fired a three-over par 74 to lead the Furman Lady Paladin golf team on day two of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic Saturday at the University Club in Athens, Ga.

Lamb birdied No. 1 and No. 2 on her way to a one-under 34 on the front nine. The Lady Paladins struggled as a team shooting a 314. Lamb ranked as the only Lady Paladin to break 80 during the second round of the 54-hole event.

Auburn notched a second round 299 to maintain first place in the team standings while Melissa Eaton (70-73) of LSU continued to lead among the individuals at one-over par.

Final round action slated to get underway at approximately 8 a.m. on Sunday.
