You could say Stefanie Kenoyer has enjoyed quite an odyssey in her brief 20 years on the planet. From summers sailing in the Bahamas on her family's 38-foot boat, to going to Costa Rica as part of a church-related mission, to tutoring special-education students, to playing golf overseas in the Ladies British Open Amateur, to qualifying for her first U.S. Women's Open, the Furman University sophomore has experienced plenty.

Kenoyer Qualifies For 2009 U.S. Women's Open

Furman women's golfer Stefanie Kenoyer (73-75=148) posted a 36-hole score of four-over par at the par-72 Westmoreland Country Club in Wilmette, Ill., on Monday to advance through sectional qualifying to earn a spot in the 2009 United States Women's Open July 9-12 at the Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pa.
