Srinivasan Paces Paladins At Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Junior Natalie Srinivasan (+11) tied for 38th to pace the 17th-ranked Furman women's golf team this weekend at the Landfall Tradition at the par 72, 6,166 yard Country Club of Landfall's Dye Course in Wilmington, N.C.

Srinivasan, a native of Spartanburg, S.C., carded a 74 with birdies on No. 2 and No. 13 to lead Furman Sunday in the tournament's final round.  Seniors Jacqueline Bendrick (+15) and Haylee Harford (+15) tied for 53rd.  Bendrick tallied a 76 with a team-high four birdies in round three, while Harford scored an 80 with a birdie on No. 11 on Sunday.

Sophomore Madison Moosa (+19) added a 78 in the final round to tie for 73rd, and sophomore Caitlin Cotterill (+32) notched a 79 with a birdie on No. 11 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 90th. 

Duke's Virginia Elena Carta (E) and Gina Kim (E) tied for individual medalist honors to lead the fifth-ranked Blue Devils (+15) to the team title.  No. 17 South Carolina (+17) was second, just one stroke ahead of eighth-ranked Arkansas (+18).  No. 2 Virginia (+28) came in fourth, followed by Michigan (+32) in fifth place.  The Paladins (+56) finished 16th. 

The Landfall Tradition concludes the fall season for the Paladins.  Furman will open the 2019 spring season at the Northrup Grumman Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif., Feb. 3-5.
