SUGAR GROVE, Ill. -- Sophomore Haylee Harford (+7) shot a 75 to tie for 14th Sunday at the 2017 NCAA Championships at the  par-72, 6,343 yard Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Ill.  The ninth-ranked Paladins (+49) recorded 13 birdies on the back nine to finish Sunday's round tied for 14th.

Harford, a native of Leavittsburg, Ohio, scored three birdies, all on the back nine, to finish the round seven strokes behind third-ranked Jennifer Kupcho (E) of Wake Forest, who scored a 74 on Friday then added a 70 on Sunday to lead the field with an even 144 after two rounds.

Senior Taylor Totland (+12) posted a team-high four birdies on Sunday, including back-to-back birdies on No. 17 and No. 18 to end the round, to card a 76.  Totland is tied for 45th, while junior Alice Chen (+14) scored a 78 and is tied for 59th place.

Freshman Natalie Srinivasan (+16), the 2017 SoCon Freshman of the Year, tied Harford for the Paladin lead with a 75 on Sunday.  Srinivasan recorded three birdies on the back to tie for 90th through the second round.  Freshman Carly Burkhardt (+17) also scored a team-high four birdies, with all four coming on the back nine, including consecutive birdies on No. 11 and No. 12.  Burkhardt carded a 76 to end the round in 107th place.

No. 12 Northwestern (+23) holds an eight-stroke lead over 14th-ranked Kent State (+31) after leading the morning wave with a 298.  Top-ranked Stanford (+33) sits in third after two rounds, while No. 25 Ohio State (+34) and 17th-ranked Baylor (+35) complete the top five.  The top eight teams after Monday's round will move on to match play.

The Paladins, who will tee off of No. 1 at 7:51 a.m. CT on Monday, are part of an 24-team field that is playing under the NCAA Championship's revised format, which was instituted in 2015.  The teams were scheduled to play 54 holes of stroke play over the course of three days, beginning Friday and continuing through Sunday.  Because of Saturday's cancellation, the teams will play 54 holes ending on Monday, and the top eight teams at the end of Monday's round will move into the match-play single elimination bracket.  Tuesday will feature the quarterfinals and semifinals, and the finals will be played Wednesday afternoon.

Furman, which secured the Southern Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament by capturing its 16th SoCon Championship last month at the Country Club of Lexington in Lexington, S.C., finished second last week at the NCAA Lubbock Regional to earn a berth at the NCAA Championship.  The Paladins finished 20th at last season's NCAA Championship in Eugene, Ore.

Live scoring of the NCAA Championships will be available at www.golfstat.com or by logging onto www.furmanpaladins.com.  The Golf Channel will provide unprecedented prime time coverage of the NCAA Women's Golf Championships. Twelve and a half hours of live event programming will be shown starting on Monday and concluding with the match play finals on Wednesday afternoon.
