GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The ninth-ranked Furman women's golf team will play at the Brickyard Collegiate on Monday and Tuesday at the par 72, 6,269 yard The Brickyard Golf Club in Macon, Ga.
The 54-hole tournament will begin with a shotgun start on Monday at 8:30 a.m. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday, and players will go off of No. 1 and No. 10 beginning at 8:20 a.m. in the final round on Tuesday. The Paladins will play in a group with Mercer and Texas A&M on Monday.
Furman will be joined in the 15-team field by No. 42 Augusta, Chattanooga, East Tennessee State, Jacksonville, Kennesaw State, Maryland, Mercer, Middle Tennessee State, North Florida, Old Dominion, Samford, No. 21 Texas A&M, Troy, and UNC Greensboro.
Five Paladin players rank among the top-100 nationally. Harford, the 2016 SoCon Freshman of the Year, lis tied for the Furman lead with a 72.4 stroke average and ranks 39th nationally. Chen, the 2016 SoCon Co-Player of the Year, ranks 45th and is tied with Harford for the Furman lead with a 72.4 stroke average, while senior Taylor Totland, who tied for 20th among the individuals at last season's national championships, ranks 47th and is third on the Furman team with a 72.6 stroke average. Srinivasan currently holds an 80th place rating and a 73.5 stroke average, and Hirai ranks 97th and boasts a 73.8 stroke average.
