GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Furman Lady Paladin basketball team will return home and kick off the new year with a Southern Conference match-up against UNC Greensboro.

Greensboro leads the series 16-8, and won both meetings between the two teams last year.

The Lady Paladins are coming off two losses in the Virginia Tech Hokie Hardwood Classic. On Saturday, host Virginia Tech defeated the Lady Paladins 82-49. On Sunday, the Georgetown Lady Hoyas downed Furman 78-58 in the consolation game.

UNC Greensboro is currently 2-10 on the season and 0-1 in league play. They are coming off a non-conference win over Chowan that snapped their 4-game losing streak.

The game will be played in Timmons Arena with an approximate tip-off time of 7:00 p.m.
