Nadalin Named Southern Conference Player of the Week

SPARTANBURG, South Carolina - Furman senior Jen Nadalin has been selected as the Southern Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of December 14.

A center from Guelph, Ontario, Nadalin led the Lady Paladins to two conference wins last week. She started the week with 30 points and eight rebounds in a 62-42 win over Elon on December 7. Her career-high 30 points tied the conference high by a women's basketball player this season. She also shot 65 percent (13-20) from the floor. Nadalin finished the week with 11 points and eight rebounds in Furman's 75-65 road win against Western Carolina on December 11.

On the week, Nadalin averaged 20.5 points in two conference wins, pulling down eight boards per game and picking up two blocks. She also shot 51.5 percent (17-33) from the floor.
