GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Furman Lady Paladin basketball team opens a three-game home stand Friday night with a matchup against Conference USA foe Rice.

The game will be the first meeting between the two teams.

Rice carries a 5-3 record into the meeting, and recently lost games to Clemson and Colorado. The Lady Paladins are coming off a 77-36 loss to No. 4 North Carolina.

The game will be played in Timmons Arena with a tip off time of approximately 7:00 p.m.
