GREENVILLE, S.C. - The women's basketball team will face Chattanooga Saturday in the first game of the Paladins' double-header. The men will face the College of Charleston following the Lady Paladin matchup.

The game between the Lady Paladins and Lady Mocs will be televised on a tape-delay basis at noon on Sunday, Jan. 20 on CSS. Chuck Hussion will offer the play-by-play and former Lady Paladin Laney Harris-Crowder will do commentary.

Chattanooga leads the all-time series 33-20. The teams met earlier this season in Chattanooga, with the Lady Mocs taking the 61-51 win. The Lady Paladins burst out to a 12-1 lead to start the game, from which it took Chattanooga almost 15 minutes to recover and tie the score at 21. From there, the Lady Mocs were able to gain a slight 31-29 advantage going into the break. The Lady Mocs rallied in the second half, widening their lead to 50-39 at the ten-minute mark, and never trailing as they took the game 61-51.

The Lady Paladins are coming off a 59-53 loss to Georgia Southern in Statesboro on Monday night. Junior Sarah Baker led Furman with 13 total points, one shy of her season high.

Chattanooga is currently 14-3 on the season and 6-0 in the Southern Conference. The Lady Mocs sit atop the SoCon rankings with wins over Furman, Western Carolina, App. State, Davidson, Elon, and UNCG.

The game will be played in Timmons Arena with a tip-off time of 2:30 p.m.
