The Furman Lady Paladins are looking to get back into the win column as the team takes on Big South opponent Charleston Southern Tuesday, Jan. 8.
Furman leads the all-time series 19-8. The last time the two teams met was in 2002, when Junior Kim Lawrence scored 29 points on 12-17 shooting from the field to lead the Furman Lady Paladins to an 84-64 victory over Charleston Southern in the opening round of the Hilton Wilmington Riverside Classic in Wilmington, N.C.
The Lady Paladins are coming off a 71-78 loss to Wofford in Southern Conference action, marking their fourth league loss of the season. Sophomore Lee Stephens set a new career high with 24 points to lead the Lady Paladins.
Charleston Southern is currently 3-11 on the season, and has not yet started Big South play. The Lady Bucs currently hold a 7-game losing streak.
The game will take place in Timmons Arena with an approximate tip-off time of 7:00 p.m.
