Lady Paladins Travel to Cross-Town Rival Wofford

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Lady Paladin basketball team will travel to Spartanburg, S.C. to take on the Lady Terriers of Wofford in league play on Saturday, Jan. 5.

Furman leads the series 25-3. During 2006-07 the Lady Paladins defeated Wofford twice during the regular season, by scores of 48-40 and 51-47.

The Lady Paladins are currently 4-9 on the season and 0-3 in Southern Conference play. The team is coming off a 66-54 loss to UNC Greensboro. Sophomore Kali Holtfreter led the team with a season-high 18 points in the loss.

The Wofford Lady Terriers are currently 8-4 overall and 1-1 in league play. They are coming off an overtime win over Bethune-Cookman.

The game will be played in Benjamin Johnson Arena with an approximate tip-off time of 6:00 p.m.
