Stephanie Rich joined the Lady Paladin basketball staff in the summer of 2005, following an outstanding career at the University of Wisconsin.

A three year starter at point guard for the Badgers, Rich was a two-time team Most Valuable Player who completed her UW career ranked among the top four in all Wisconsin three-point shooting categories. In addition, she was a two-time Big Ten Honorable Mention selection and averaged 10.2 points per game as a senior captain.

As a junior in 2003-04, Rich led the Big Ten in assists, with a 5.81 per game average and topped the Badgers in scoring as a sophomore, with an 11.6 per game average.

Rich's career highs as a point guard at Wisconsin include 24 points versus Indiana, six three pointers against Washington, 11 rebounds versus Iowa, and 12 assists against Notre Dame and Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne (IPFW). Rich ended her UW career ranked fourth in all-time assists, with 383, and eighth in steals, with 209.

Rich graduated from Wisconsin in May of 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences Communication and a concentration in business.
