First assistant Brooke Carrigan-Jackson joined the Lady Paladin basketball staff in May of 2006, after spending the 2005-06 season as an assistant coach at University of the Pacific.

Prior to her stint at Pacific, Carrigan-Jackson spent one season as an assistant coach at Southern Oregon University. Before the 2004-05 season, Carrigan-Jackson played professionally in the Netherlands (2002-03) and in Germany (2003-04). Carrigan-Jackson's first coaching experience came during the 2001-02 season as an assistant coach for University of Southern Colorado.

In her collegiate career, Carrigan-Jackson was a four-year player at Colorado Christian University. During her career with the Cougars, she was named a four-time Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference all-star, and was recognized as an NCAA Div. II Bulletin All-American as a junior, when she averaged 22 points per game. She still holds career records at Colorado Christian in five different categories including points (1,774), field goals made (653), and three-point field goal percentage (.363). Also holds four single season records for the Cougars including points (570) and field goals made (206). Carrigan-Jackson, a native of Medford, Ore., earned her bachelor's degree in Art from Colorado Christian University in 2001.
