GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Le'Jzae Davidson scored 16 points to lead a parade of six double figure scorers in Furman's 102-51 win over Pfeiffer in women's basketball action Wednesday evening at Timmons Arena.
The win improved Furman to 4-1 on the season, with all four victories coming at home. Pfeiffer fell to 2-3 on the campaign.
Davidson, a sophomore guard, tallied her 16 points in just 20 minutes of action in a contest that saw Paladin head coach Jackie Carson give significant minutes to all 11 players in uniform.
Freshman forward Celena Taborn continued her solid early season work, contributing 15 points, six rebounds, and three blocks in just 15 minutes.
Kaitlyn Duncan scored 13 points, Parker Tompkins 12, and Jarya Outten 11. Cierra Carter rounded out the Paladin double figure scorers with 10 points, which she combined with a game high 14 rebounds.
The Paladins shot 55.7 percent from the field, draining 39-of-70 shots, and claimed total command of the boards, posting a 56-36 advantage.
Stephania Oramas' game high seven assists paced a 25-assist effort by Furman.
Abby Waggoner led Pfeiffer with nine points.
