In 2004-05, the Hollingsworth Initiative began as a way to encourage current Paladin Club members to move up to the top annual giving levels (Coaches level and above) by funding a step-up program, as outlined below. In each case, the donor must make an annual pledge of three or more years and move up to a higher gift level, to qualify for Hollingsworth funding. Beginning in the first year of the pledge, the donor immediately has full membership privileges in the new gift level.

Upon making a three-year pledge...
	The donor pays:	Hollingsworth will add:
Year 1:	50% of the giving level amount	50% of the giving level amount
Year 2:	75% of the giving level amount	25% of the giving level amount
Year 3:	100% of the giving level amount	-0-

The Hollingsworth Initiative is an excellent means by which to immediately become a member of a higher giving level without feeling the full financial effects for three years to come. If you are a member of the Order of the Paladin, you may use the Hollingsworth Initiative to move up a level within the Order of the Paladin (quarter scholarship, half scholarship, full scholarship).
