GREENVILLE, S.C. - Junior men's tennis player Andy Juc has earned a 21st-place ranking in the Mideast Region, the ITA announced last week.

Juc entered the fall season ranked 45th in the national preseason rankings, and defeated ranked opponents from College of Charleston, and Pennsylvania.

"We are very pleased to see Andy ranked," commented head coach Paul Scarpa. "However, we feel that he could have been ranked even higher, and other players, such as Bo Ladyman and Daniel Knause, could have easily been ranked had we played a different schedule in the fall."

The men's tennis team kicks off its 2008 season with a trip to Tennessee on January 24.
