Junior tennis player Andy Juc fell in the first round of the Polo/Ralph Lauren ITA All-American Championships, held in Tulsa, Okla. this weekend.
Juc was defeated by Claudio Christen of Arizona, who holds a 75th place ITA preseason ranking, by scores of 6-3, 6-1.
In the first round of the singles consolation bracket, Juc defeated Jason Pinsky (ranked 59th) of Pennsylvania 6-4, 6-1.
Singles play continues tomorrow, when Juc will face the winner of Shields (Boise State) v. Beidas (Pepperdine).
