2008-09: Rhyne recorded a 17-12 doubles record. He teamed with Chris Motes for a 6-4 league record in the no. 2 doubles position.
2007-08: As a sophomore, Chris Rhyne contributed primarily as a doubles specialist, teaming with partner Andrei Chvetsov to post a 7-11 record. The duo went 3-2 in conference play in 2008.
Prep/Personal: Rhyne was a two-time All-American in high school, helping to lead his team to three consecutive state championships. He had an undefeated singles record as a junior at the No. 1 position and was all-state and all-conference during all four years at Forsyth. Rhyne was recognized as the state tournament and conference player of the year in his final season. He also ranked in the top 10 in the South in 18s and was among the top 75 in the nation. Rhyne also had two top ten wins to his name before injuring his hip last spring. Chris is the son of Joseph and Laurie Rhyne and was born on May 27, 1987. He intends to major in business. His uncle, Neil Garrison, was a former Paladin basketball standout.
