After an injury prior to his sophomore season forced him to take the year off, Crook returned as a strong doubles force in the Furman lineup in 2006. A second-team all-conference honoree, Crook paired with rookie Bo Ladyman to post an 18-10 doubles mark (No. 2), including an 8-1 SoCon record. Crook will be relied upon for leadership as well as his court skills in his final season.
During his freshman year, Crook went 7-13 at No. 5 singles and earned a 12-13 doubles record with big wins over Michigan and Dartmouth.
Prep/Personal: The team MVP four straight years, Crook finished his prep career ranked 6th in the state of Maryland. Crook is majoring in business administration and is a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He was born on December 12, 1984 and is the son of Mitchell and and Sharon Crook.
