Asher continues to improve his game to take it to the next level. He is a player his coaches and teammates can count on at all times. 2007-08: As a junior, Asher posted a 3-0 singles record and a 1-1 doubles record during the fall of 2008. 2006-07: As a sophomore, Asher teamed with Jason Basile to defeat Sanford/Bunn of Washington & Lee in doubles action, 8-4. 2005-06: As a freshman, Asher won each match in which he competed. He easily defeated his opponent from Sewanee, 6-1, 6-2, and paired with fellow rookie Jason Basile for victories over Washington & Lee and Sewanee in doubles action. Prep/Personal: Asher ended his high school career ranked No. 1 in the state of Idaho, winning the singles state championship as a senior with an undefeated record. He also won the mixed doubles state championship as a sophomore and junior. Ethan is the son of Stephen, former tennis player at UCLA, and Irene Asher. He is majoring in economics and is a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. Asher was born on December 11, 1986.
