Furman To Entertain Wofford In Senior Day Contest Wednesday

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman men's tennis team will entertain Wofford in the team's Senior Day contest Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Mickel Tennis Center in Greenville, S.C.  The Paladins will honor seniors Cameron Green and Josh Pistorius in their final home match.

Over the years, Furman has been very successful on its home court. Over the past 15 seasons the Paladins have lost only 29 matches on their home court, posting an impressive record of 128-29 since 2002.

Furman enters Wednesday's match with a 16-6 overall record and 4-1 SoCon mark after beating Samford, 5-2, on Saturday. 

Wofford entered the week at 10-7 overall and 2-2 in the SoCon after beating league foe The Citadel, 7-0, and losing to Charlotte, 4-3, last week.  The Terriers will face UNCG Tuesday in Spartanburg before traveling to Greenville.

The match marks the 40th meeting between the Paladins and the Terriers.  Furman holds a 37-2  series advantage after defeating Wofford, 7-0, last season in Spartanburg.
