Second Half Goal Lifts Furman Over Princeton 2-1

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Furman's Dominic Cianciarulo broke a 1-1 tie with a goal at the 74:17 mark to lift the Furman men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Princeton in the opening game of the Wofford adidas Invitational Friday night in Spartanburg, S.C.
With Furman leading 1-0, the Tigers equalized at the 70:33 mark. Cianciarulo answered with his first collegiate goal to help Furman improve to 2-3-1 on the season and win its second straight.
The loss drops Princeton to 3-2-1 on the season. In game two of the four team tournament, the Liberty Flames downed host Wofford 1-0.
Tournament action concludes Sunday with Wofford hosting Princeton at noon and Furman facing off with Liberty at 2:30 p.m.
